A unique opportunity to visit one of the many local wineries while learning about wine and wine tasting from a Penticton-based wine industry expert who also works as a water/wastewater treatment engineer. With her unique background and approach to tasting, Karen demystifies the science behind how our senses create our unique experiences. Understand how to get the most out of the wines you choose, be it in a tasting room or when pairing wine with food, in a beautiful winery setting on the Naramata Bench, specifically selected by Karen. The wineries are approximately 15 minutes from the conference centre. The educational tasting session is anticipated to last approximately 2 hours with time to purchase wine at the end.
